Security deposits
Security deposits may be paid by debit card, credit card, or cash. Card deposits temporarily reduce the funds or credit available to you. After Flipside releases the authorization, your bank may continue to show it as pending for 24 to 48 hours. Cash deposits are returned immediately when gear is returned undamaged.
The replacement value of rented equipment can exceed the security deposit. If gear is lost, stolen, or returned with extreme damage, the renter is responsible for the full replacement value. Please bring identification and the payment card used for the deposit.
Protect your rental gear
Keep rental equipment with you at all times. Do not leave it unattended outside the lodge or on ski racks. Compact snowboard locks are available in the shop.
Rentals are typically first come, first served. Flipside tries to honor reservations for repeat customers when possible. Rates, package inventory, and deposit requirements can change, so please call before your trip to confirm current availability and pricing.
